I was there and wasn't enthusiastic about the vegan / vegetarian selection in advance, so I picked something out of a vegetarian dish and made it suitable for me. Unfortunately, the vegetarian marked is not vegetarian at all because fish is probably not counted as meat. But you are not made aware of it after asking several times.

Unfortunately no recommendation at all. Service was poor, on a Saturday evening at 6 p.m., the store was full to a maximum of 30%. Cutlery was dirty. Glasses still had the rims of other visitors' lips. Waiting time for dessert was very long, the waffle even came on my plate afterwards. Service staff was maximally "always tried hard". We know the other city wall restaurants and have always been very satisfied. Here we were immensely disappointed.

The food was good. The ambience and staff very pleasant and relaxed. However, it is simply unbelievable and completely covered for a hot lemon (3-4 slices of lemon with peel and hot water) to pay an impressive 3.50 €. If you want honey with it, another 50 cents on top. If the lemon were at least organic. But even then, just completely disproportionate.

I'm actually a fan of the city wall in Hanover. The bowls are really good. But at this location you were unfortunately overwhelmed by your own online map because of my telephone request. After a few minutes on the phone with two different employees, it turned out that the dish I wanted from the online menu was not available here. Because there would be no rice ... I will try it again soon and update my rating here if necessary.

Delicious food, attentive and friendly service, very well furnished. You feel very comfortable in such an atmosphere and would love to come back.

We were there on Friday evening, it was very crowded. The waitress took really long time to come to our table to take order. On the positive side, we liked the food and the drinks. And the restaurant was very lively.

A super great restaurant. Food is great. No matter whether breakfast or lunch / evening. The wait staff are very friendly and attentive. I've been there three times now and would love to come back.

Very large selection of dishes. Middle class prices and indescribably delicious. In addition, there is friendly staff and a nice ambience on the outside terrace. Small minus point, with the burgers the fries cost 3 € extra and the sauces, even ketchup or mayo, 1 € extra. Otherwise more ala satisfied.

We followed a suggestion and tried out the city wall at Lister Platz. The table reservation for 7 people worked well, even if we were kindly asked after receiving the first drinks whether we would be ready to move to another table because of a birthday group. We moved and the new table was even nicer. We then ordered a wide variety of burgers (called stacked items here) with fries or sweet potato fries and various dips. Also a quinoa, avocado and chicken bowl. The dishes were served at the same time. The meat of the burger was fried to the point and the composition of the stacked burgers was consistently tasty. The classic fries and sweet potato fries were delicious and the dips (especially the truffle mayo) were very good. A caipirinha ordered as a conclusion was a rather sad mixture. Almost € 8 for a drink, the mix of which is better than ready-mix elsewhere, even at happy hour, was a small damper of the otherwise good impression. But the city wall is not a cocktail bar either, that is to say ... if you can't do it properly, you'd better cross it off the menu. The sanitary area was pleasantly clean. Big compliments to the staff, who were always very friendly, attentive and approachable without being intrusive. Recommended, we'd love to come back, but without a cocktail. PS: The corona restrictions were largely complied with.

Wonderful location! Great service, the waitresses are extremely friendly and helpful. The food tastes very good, as do the cocktails! Great shop with something for everyone.

Wonderful service! We were seated very quickly and served very attentively and politely. The lady with the curls was responsible for us. We are looking forward to the next time!

I went there spontaneously and wanted to eat a fresh salad after exercising. Drove there, ordered and came after a while. At first glance very appealing, but then I noticed the tomato right above. It was very moldy and right on top of it. So that's how it was served. I asked the waitress to take this salad back and please bring me a new one. It took a while, but I had the impression that the salad wasn't freshly made and only the tomato was taken out and mixed a little. As an excuse I didn't pay for the drink and I should pay for the salad for over 10 euros in full. This was also arranged after consulting the boss. Pretty embarrassing number for a trendy shop!

The weather wasn't so nice when I visited, so I sat in there. Very nice ambience inside and out. The food is tasty, flavorful and the service very attentive. Prices are okay, but I've eaten the cheesecake from the dessert menu a few times - it's a bit overpriced.

The city wall has been really nicely renovated and has a pleasant atmosphere. The map also looks pretty good at first glance. BUT The operation and service is underground. Sometimes you sit at the table for 40-60 minutes without removing old dishes or taking a new order. Nobody cares. The service staff tend to be busy with each other or with themselves or are three tables away smoking and chatting together. We also had to wait almost 30 minutes for payment (we had to go inside to remind, because nobody can despite asking). I have to admit and I don't want to go unmentioned that we were offered a reparation. Food and drink not worth mentioning (neither particularly good nor bad). My company and I will not be back due to the disastrous service.

Waiters tend to be preoccupied with themselves and inattentive. The breakfast components, mind you on a hot morning, were no longer particularly fresh. A soft-boiled egg was not feasible. Moderate quality. At least drinks were chilled. Masks were hung around their necks but not pulled over their mouths or noses when the condition was at the table.

Surprisingly good. Since the city wall belongs to the same owners as various other locations that I didn't like so much, I was initially skeptical. However, I was taught better. The city wall was very well attended, but we were still organized a table for 5 people (without reservation). Service was very attentive, brisk and friendly. The selection of food and drinks is very good. If the small, conspicuous part of the guests still manages to adhere to the usual rules of behavior and not annoy the residents, the city wall is an asset to Lister Platz.

At first I was skeptical about this restaurant but in the end I was pleasantly surprised! I visited the restaurant last week, where I was served by two beautiful and extremely friendly dark-skinned women, the food was good and the prices were okay. Nevertheless, you should maybe rethink the service a little because the blonde waitress who was responsible for my table was not particularly personable! Otherwise great !!
